Group tuition
Tuition is available through premium one-to-one lessons and affordable small-group classes. One-to-one lessons provide personalised support, help identify areas of weakness, develop exam strategy and build confidence. Small-group classes allow students to benefit from expert teaching at a lower cost while still receiving structured guidance and interaction.
For both one-to-one and small-group tuition, a minimum of 5 lessons must be booked after the introductory session so that lessons can be planned properly and progress can be monitored. For small-group tuition, students should form their own group before booking and provide a list of topics they would like to study.
Example
A group of 4–6 GCSE students booking the 10-lesson Small Group GCSE Package pays £175 per student total, cheaper than the £20/student/hour standard small-group rate (£200 per student over 10 lessons). One nominated group member pays the full group total at checkout and settles shares with the rest of the group separately.
Bookings are non-refundable once paid. For group tuition, the nominated group member who pays at checkout is responsible for collecting each member's share. Professor Dr Munir Ahmed only takes one payment per group booking.
Group tuition requirements
- Group formation
- Students should form their own group before booking.
- Group size
- GCSE, KS2/KS3, A-level, and Research Methods groups should normally include a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students.
- Topic list
- Students must provide a list of the topics they want to be taught before the first lesson. Maths tuition is available to book at any time. Science, A-level Physics, and Research Methods tuition may also be available, but please email to confirm availability before booking.
- Minimum booking
- A minimum of 5 lessons must be booked for group tuition.
- Same level requirement
- Students in the same group should be studying the same level and preferably the same exam board or syllabus.
- Payment
- Fees are charged per student. For group tuition, payment for the full group should be made by one nominated group member before the start of the booked lesson package.
- Lesson focus
- Lessons will be planned around the group's agreed topic list, exam needs, and areas of difficulty.
